AN ORIGINAL, 3-OWNER CUSTOM ORDERED VEHICLE FROM SUPERIOR COACHBUILDERS OUT OF LIMA, OHIO. DELIVERED 10/11/90 TO A LARGE FUNERAL HOME IN  NORTH CAROLINA. IT WAS THEN SOLD 9/28/98 TO THE A FUNERAL HOME IN NAYLOR, MO. THEY ONLY USED IT FOR A SHORT TIME, AS THE OWNER HIMSELF PASSED, BEFORE IT WAS PURCHASED, THEN SOLD 9/05/00 BY  A  FUNERAL HOME IN PERRYVILLE, MO. AND THEN WAS SOLD TO A DEALERSHIP IN ILLINOIS.  IT IS ONE OF ONLY 38 SUPERIOR CH-04 'CHANCELLOR' BROUGHAM HEARSES EVER BUILT * THAT YEAR AND IS CONSIDERED BY MANY COLLECTOR'S TO BE UNIQUE DUE TO THE FACT IT WAS BUILT ON A SMALLER WHEELBASE CHEVROLET EXTENDED FRAME INSTEAD OF A COMMERCIAL CADILLAC, BUICK, OLDS (OR LINCOLN) FRAME.  SUPERIOR COACH WAS KIND ENOUGH TO SUPPLY US WITH THE ORIGINAL BUILD SHEET. NOT OUR CHOICE BUT, SOMEONE IN ILLINOIS ADDED 17"X 8" CUSTOM WHEELS AND RADIAL B.W. TIRES.... THE INTERIOR IS FACTORY ORIGINAL: MADE IN ' EMPRESS' GRAY (VELVET-LIKE) VELOUR, COMMON BY-THIS-YEAR ON MOST G.M. PRODUCTS, WITH THE OPTIONAL COLOR-CODED DASH AND BROUGHAM TRIM FINISHED IN ROSEWOOD. WE ALSO LOCATED AN ORIGINAL AND ORIGINAL OWNERS MANUAL. WE SAW THE TAIL LIGHTS LEAVE BACK TO ILLINOIS AFTER JUST A FEW WEEKS. YOU DON'T SEE MANY CHEVROLET HEARSES, DO YOU??  SOLD
